Registration Fees for @ Your-Site Safety & Technical Classes

 

@Your-Site: Training (3-Hour, In-Person)

 

Effective January 1, 2019, NEPPA moved to a per person registration fee for @Your-Site Safety & Technical Classes:

 

• NEPPA Members (Utility & Affiliate)
  • $68 per person, minimum $600 (i.e. 9 participants)
• Non-Members
  • $138 per person, minimum $1,200 (i.e. 9 participants)

 

@Your-Site: OSHA Fundamentals Courses (4 to 6-Hour, In-Person)

 

With the exception of First Aid/CPR (since the class size is restricted by the card certifier - i.e. American Heart Association, American National Safety & Health Institute, or Medic First Aid), the OSHA Fundamentals courses will be billed at the following rates:

 

• NEPPA Members (Utility & Affiliate)
  • $125 per person, minimum $1,000 (i.e. 8 participants)
• Non-Members
  • $225 per person, minimum $1,800 (i.e. 8 participants)

 

@Your-Site: Virtual (90-min.; Live, Instructor-Led)

 

To meet our members "where they are" NEPPA is again offering an @Your-Site: Virtual series of training sessions.  These 90-min, live, instructor-led sessions are offered to meet training needs virtually. 

 

Participants may register for individual sessions, for the Spring or Fall Series (8 sessions each), or for the entire 2021 Series (16 total sessions):

To submit this registration, please read the following statement and check the box below to confirm that you acknowledge NEPPA’s policy and agree to the fees pertaining to your selected training.

 

NEPPA’s Policy for providing training to member and non-member employees

 

These classes may be conducted on-site at member utilities, at NEPPA's Training Center, or virtually.  Unless other arrangements are made, in-person sessions begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 11:00 am (with the exception of OSHA Fundamentals classes). Unless noted, there are no prerequisites for these courses.

 

NEPPA reserves the right to remove or ask an attendee to leave its classes/programs. The General Foreman or General Manager will be alerted to the situation. Removal for any of the reasons below does not entitle participating parties to a refund.

 

Reasons for removal include:

 

• Disruptive or inappropriate behavior for the learning environment;
• Lack of appropriate dress or equipment for classes requiring protective gear or equipment;
• Refusal or inability to perform for classes requiring physical performance;
• Non-adherence to safety rules or standards, including company or organization COVID-19 protocols, where applicable.

 

Note: For classes requiring physical performance, students who have obtained confirmation from their utility acknowledging their inability to perform due to injury will be allowed to observe. This will be documented on the class roster.

 

If a utility is hosting a training and they wish to have a non-affiliated person attend or participate, they must seek approval from NEPPA prior to the training.

 

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class will be billed.
