Over the past two years, American Public Power has partnered with Axio to provide the Cybersecurity Scorecard Program. This program provides extensive free resources for APPA members to develop a culture of cybersecurity at public power utilities.

 

Come join us on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at NEPPA's training center to participate in a scorecard workshop.

The benefits of Participating in the Scorecard workshop will help you:

  • Quickly (14 questions in about 45 minutes) evaluate your utility’s cybersecurity stance with Department of Energy standards and compare/benchmark those scores with other utilities.
  • Receive suggestions for target goals and recommendations for next steps to improve your score.
  • Produce reports to effectively communicate needs for management and budgeting.
  • Coordinate evaluations of several departments within your utility to gain an overall view where appropriate.
  • Use the Platform to interact with the Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2), by uploading a previous C2M2 to the Dashboard or by stepping up from the Scorecard to the next level within the C2M2.
  • Access the Scorecard Users’ Group to ask and answer questions with other users and network with other utility professionals that are engaged in improving their cybersecurity program.
